Is Tony Blair's "Gift" to the Royal British Legion generous or otherwise?

I agree with T Fisher, we should not be involved in these wars, we should spend the money on homeland security.
I do not agree with Machael Evison, the only way the Falklands war was "unnecessary" was in cutting the spending and withdrawing the survey ship which possibly gave the Argentinians the idea that they could get away with it. Watch the documentary "The Falklands - The Ilanders War" and you will see how necessary it was to protect them from the military Junta. Before the invasion by Argentina, Sir Nicholas Soames had been sent twice to the Falkands to try to persuade them to accept a changeover to Argentinian rule. The islanders refused, they wanted to remain British and therefore it was our duty to protect them.
The first Gulf war was to free an invaded country Kuwait, not to overthrow Sadam Hussein. The overthrow now has proven to be the biggest mistake the west has made. It has removed Iran's natural enemy and taken womens rights back into the dark ages again.

Those politicians are really CRAP. Also the MOD or are they the MOO? Ministry of Offence. They send us FODDER to do their dirty work but we must NOT fall ill. If we do, then we are psychopaths or maleringering or not fit to be a human being. Wake up Britain. Don't fight wars for those people who would not send their own offsprings to do the dirty work for them. From A veteran. Man , I reaLLY hate the MOO.

I didn't notice Mrs Thatcher donating the proceeds from her biography to the victims of her totally unnecessary
escapade in the the Faiklands. She didn't even allow the injured and disfigured victims march in her victory parade through London. Similarly John Majors initial Gulf war that failed to remove Saddam Hussein, hence requiring the second gulf war to finish the job, many of the victims of the first Gulf war are still suffering from "Gulf war syndrome" and were never taken seriously by Major's government or benefited from the profits of his biography.

It's synical - but what else could he do? I'll tell you, he should give all of his fortune to those he committed to an unnecessary and almost certainly illegal war, while he and all his cabinet then went off on wonderful holiday's leaving our brave troops ill equiped. Am I right in thinking that his offshore (I presume that means he will not pay the taxes he wants us to pay) companies include OIL INTERESTS in the middle east?????????? GIVE ALL THIS INCOME TO THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION ALSO.
